Our experiences outside of the hospital are what truly set us apart. See what we do with our time outside of the hosptial.
Our PGY3s travel to the annual national ACEP conference every year. Last year we went to Las Vegas and this year we just came back from Salt Lake City!
Our PGY2s spend three beautiful July days at Lake George at the Sagamore Hotel attending the NYACEP conference.
This past year we won second at the infamous Volleyball tournament!

Every year we attend Light Up the Night, an annual fundraiser for the AMC Emergency Department held at the Saratoga Race Track in Saratoga, NY.

Our annual Attending Vs Resident paintball conference. The only rule is don't shoot Kara!
Dr. Noonan, one of our APDs, hosting her annual Lady Docs Patio Party.
Biannually we have a class day off for each PGY class. Babies always included.
Dr. Piche, PGY3, leading discussion about barriers to sickle cell care in the Emergency Department, part of our DEI focused journal club in September. This is one of our monthly journal clubs that are hosted at local Albany restaurants or our attending's homes.

Only complete with a tray of Collin's wings, named after one of our own attendings and a pile of mozzarella logs. The floors may be sticky and the tables almost fall over when you lean on them but nothing cures a bad shift like this place with our coresidents and attendings!
